This image is of the "Blue Hour" but in this case is was take way before daylight. This was a 45 sec exposure take at 4am, no moon and couldn't see any. It was pitch dark but the camera could see in the dark. Yes, this is what the sky looks like at that time of the AM. We just can't see because our eyes just let enough light in to see this. What shocked when viewing the image files, shadows of the trees.
